If you are prompted to Make a copy of a file, you have discovered Google’s Force Copy option. The file has been configured to provide a copy of the resource. This option allows you to edit the file. Once you’ve selected Make a copy, a copy of the file will automatically open and be saved to the main directory of your Google Drive.
To locate the file, log in to Google Drive (drive.google.com) using your Champlain account credentials. You may search for the file using the the title of the file in the search bar, or select the Recent link from the navigation menu (to the left).
