With Brainfuse, Champlain College students receive free on-demand instruction and support from online tutors across a wide variety of subjects — from beginner to advanced, up to 24 hours a day. Tutors offer live help via video, chat, whiteboard, document sharing, screen sharing, code editing, and more in business subjects, accounting, finance, economics, computers and tech subjects, basic programming, resume review, and interview coaching. Students can also access online study aids, written and video tutorials, and assessment tools.
Brainfuse employs a team of approximately 4,000 tutors, of which 96% have a graduate degree in the area they tutor. They are there to guide students toward independent learning while providing tools and learning strategies.
Champlain College students have free access to this service and its resources and are allotted an initial 10 hours of direct work with a tutor per year. If you approach the 10-hour allotment, you will receive a message, please contact your Academic Advisor to request additional hours. This will be provided at no cost.
Whether students need assistance with assignments or feedback on written projects, they can receive on demand help. Students can log in from the left-hand resource menu directly from their current class in Canvas. (Step-by-step screenshots)
