Software Description

RStudio Desktop (now part of Posit) is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. RStudio provides an interface for writing and running R scripts, managing files, and visualizing data.

Access Instructions

R and RStudio Desktop are compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

  1. Download R: 
    1. If you don’t already have the R language on your machine, visit the Download and Install R page.
    2. Find the version for your operating system. 
    3. Accept all settings.
  2. Download RStudio: 
    1. Visit the Download RStudio Desktop page. 
    2. Click on the Download RStudio for Desktop button. 
    3. Accept all installation settings.
